Why the Conservative Alternative?

The Conservative Alternative is the place to discover choices that don’t disrespect you or call you names. It’s a hopeful place where ideas can take shape, allies found and actions taken.

The site was born out of frustration and anger. Over the years, I have watched the nation I love spiral into mediocrity. Sometimes it appears to be a mere shadow of what it had been. Once, this country was led by world-class statesmen such as; George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Abraham Lincoln. Today, we are often led by politicians such as Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and Joe Biden.

But what could I do about it?

While I floundered with that question, I began reorganizing my own life. If a company didn’t share my values, I found an alternative. I didn’t seek out reasons to turn away from a company but, when they declared their values, I listened and, if I didn’t like what I heard, I acted.

When T-Mobile announced the indoctrination of employees with critical race theory, I heard. When they pulled their advertising from conservative programs I enjoyed, I moved to another phone service. I have better things to do with my money than support views I disagree with.

When Facebook began shadow banning and de-platforming conservatives my frustration reached a new height. It was during this period that it occurred to me that others might want practical conservative alternatives to left-wing corporate giants.

I’m not calling for a boycott, but if you find the politics of a company distasteful, and want an alternative, this is the place to look.

Is this a Christian website?

I am both a conservative and Christian and, this website reflects that. I believe that many Christians are, by nature, conservative. They desire to conserve the faith and traditions that have been handed down to them. This tends to make them conservative in other areas.

Also, because they wish to conserve what they see as the better parts of society, many conservatives are open to matters of faith. So, while this is not an overtly Christian site, the two often overlap here.

If you have an idea for a Christian or conservative alternative, please use the contact page to send me a note.
