Gone Rogue
Recently an FBI whistleblower reported that the agency has lowered the priority of child sex abuse cases. This was done to allow the agency to focus on the January 6th probe and cases of domestic extremism and white supremacy. This shift of priorities would be disturbing enough but, we should not forget the recent cases that the FBI has chosen to ignore. These include the protests around and attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh, the Hunter Biden laptop, the political intrigue of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and the mishandling of classified documents on Hillary Clinton’s email server. Beyond that, there are allegations that FBI Director James Comey, Agent Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page had engaged in political misconduct regarding the Russia probe and the Trump administration. None of this has had a thorough investigation.
Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist has stated, “The Department of Justice, the FBI, and the corporate media have a history of viciously attacking — usually through deceptive leaks and lies — anyone who threatens their power.” She went on to declare that the DOJ and FBI are “out of control.” They do appear very capable of terrorizing average Americans. In earlier articles, I reported on the federal raids on the Amos Miller and Thomas Caldwell farms.
More recently, the FBI seized the phone of Mike Lindell, the “My Pillow” guy. Lindell is a friend of former president Donald Trump. As such, Lindell has supported Trump’s claims of election irregularities in the 2020 presidential election. While the left has vehemently denounced claims of election impropriety the topic remains a matter of free speech and the reasoning behind FBI interest in Lindell’s phone remains unclear.
In the last few days, yet another case of apparent FBI abuse has developed. According to the New York Post, about 25 armed FBI agents arrived at the home of Mark Houck, a Catholic pro-life activist, early in the morning of September 23rd, and arrested him for interfering with access to a Planned Parenthood clinic last year. According to Houck and others, a clinic volunteer, Bruce Love, approached and shouted at Houck’s 12-year-old son. Houck pushed him away. Bruce Love filed a civil suit at that time, but when it came to trial Love failed to appear. His absence resulted in the suit being dismissed. At a time when pro-life centers are being vandalized and torched, it is a mystery why the FBI would become involved in such a trivial event.
The Conservative Alternative will do a complete report on the Houck case soon, and we continue to follow the Lindell case. Do you have an opinion about the current trend within the FBI? Let us know in the comment section below.
