They Poked the Bear

The FBI raid on the Mar-a-Lago home of President Trump may have poked the conservative bear one too many times.

In 1969, President Nixon popularized the phrase “silent majority,” for Americans that worked and paid taxes, but didn’t demonstrate or often engage in public discourse. Maybe they didn’t even regularly vote. This group of largely middle-class, right-of-center, Americans were often overshadowed by the left-leaning media and the radical students of that time. I believe that the left has poked the silent majority one time too many with the raid on former President Trump’s home.

Democrats of today like to call themselves liberal but, they’re not liberal in the old sense of freedom and empowering individuals with knowledge. The left of today is authoritarian. They consider themselves not only right but righteous when it comes to abortion, critical race theory, climate change, gender philosophy, and more. They don’t think conservatives or Republicans are wrong, they believe they’re evil. Democrats have moved from ideology to religious dogma.

As the Democrats have ran to the left, the republicans have drifted to the right. President Reagan gave the party a strong shove to the right, but it drifted off course. The Tea Party Movement was another push in the right direction but again the ship of state lost its way. Many of the people that supported Trump were just average Americans that knew the country was on the wrong course and the Democrats seemed to always be at the helm. Republicans whimpered protests but didn’t fight for a course change. Often they were part of the problem. Trump gave those Americans a voice and a chance to chart a new course.

Sarah Palin coined the phrase “mama grizzly” to describe her personal fight for her children’s future. She later expanded this to refer to all moms that entered politics because they feared for their children’s future. Unlike Democrats, I know what a mama is and I could never be one, but I’d like to think that I’m a grizzly when it comes to a fight for my future, my children’s future, and my country. So, who poked the grizzly?

A raid by thirty armed FBI agents on the home of a former president would need to be signed off by FBI director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland. The judge that approved the warrant was Bruce Reinhart. According to the Post Millennial, Reinhart was, “hired on January 2, 2008, to represent accomplices of [Jeffrey] Epstein, who would later go on to receive federal immunity for allegedly trafficking underage girls.” In addition to those individuals, I can’t imagine that President Biden wouldn’t be informed and, as the saying goes, the buck stops with him.

America needs to know the reasoning behind the raid. They need to see the warrant and the list of seized documents. If we don’t have complete transparency, this raid will tear the country farther apart. This grizzly has been poked too many times. I’m growling mad and I want answers.

Russian collusion turned out to be a partisan hoax. The January 6th committee is partisan (Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are RINOs and will soon be out of office) and this modern Star Chamber hasn’t proven any crime by President Trump. Both impeachments were partisan efforts. If the radical Democrats don’t have a clear case that most Americans can understand and agree with, then they have made Trump a martyr for American ideals. If he decides to run for President a red wave of voters is likely to support him.

So, to all the Trump haters still feverishly working to charge him with something, what crime did the former president commit that warranted a raid on his home? Show America why you poked the bear or prepare to be mauled at the polls.
