On a sunny day last week, I revved up my chainsaw and trudged out just beyond our garden and henhouse to cut down several trees. I notched a large dead tree and then began the cut on the other side. Suddenly the tree snapped near the ground and fell. With chainsaw in hand, I stumbled backward. Fortunately, the tree fell in the general direction I wanted. After my heart slowed to a normal pace, I began cutting on another dead tree. This went well until I heard the snapping of wood and the tree wobbled. Unsure where it would fall, I again stumbled backward, but this time my feet tangled in bramble, and I fell. The tree thundered to the ground across two fences and terrorized our chickens but missed me.

As I watched the South Park episode “Joining the Panderverse,” hope swelled within me that the recent progressive insanity might be crumbling.” Briefly, the episode shows Disney CEO, Robert Iger, and executive Kathleen Kennedy making woke decisions that drive the company’s share price down. That bit of delightful mockery was soon followed by the latest movie from the Daily Wire, Lady Ballers.

Yesterday I received the Founder’s Kit from Jeremy’s Razors. As you can see from the picture, I don’t spend a lot of time shaving, but I don’t want to look like Santa Claus. However, I do shave most days and keep my beard well-trimmed. My son had ordered the kit several months ago when he first watched the Daily Wire commercial embedded below. The kit contains a nice weighted razor handle, shave cream, post-shave balm, and eight blades. Why did Jeremy Boreing, the CEO of the Daily Wire, start a razor company?

Most people have heard the folktale of the Emperor’s New Clothes. What is a Woman is the darker side of the ideological blindness that drives the older tale. Part of the intensity of this Daily Wire documentary is watching Matt Walsh travel all over North America and beyond to find the modern answer to a question that has had a universally accepted definition since the dawn of time. In the film, Matt Walsh strives to get a simple answer to the question “What is a woman.” We might be amused by all the fumbling attempts at answers but, that hides an evil directed at our children.

Ben Shapiro is a brand within The Daily Wire brand. He’s a founder and editor of the site and hosts a daily podcast and a live radio show. Perhaps that isn’t enough to keep him busy because last year he created a new video podcast titled Debunked, which I’ll discuss in detail later.

There is a saying don’t judge a book by its cover. In the case of The Hyperions, the saying should go, don’t judge a movie by its trailer. This is The Daily Wire’s third release in just over a year. While Run Hide Fight and Shut In were deadly serious, The Hyperions is a humorous take on the superhero genre and arguably the least political Daily Wire movie to date.

People might expect movies produced by conservatives to have a bland story, stiff acting with a heavy dose of pandering. Shut In has none of those issues. It’s not a perfect movie, it has a slow start but it really picks up, and along the way, it has a lot of surprises.

CNN, MSNBC, and the New York Times often lean so far left that they get basic facts wrong. Examples abound, such as the Kyle Rittenhouse trial or about Trump-Russia collusion. However, a new, grassroots media, is emerging. Founded in 2015 in Los Angeles, The Daily Wire is a fast-growing Internet media company, that works from a conservative perspective to get the facts right. A variety of shows are daily released online.
